Le sac et l’emballage. Voici les produits phares de la société BioApply, fondée en 2006 à Genève. Mais pas n’importe quel sac. Celui que propose BioApply est 100% écologique. «Un sac n’est pas seulement un objet utilitaire, c’est aussi un vecteur de communication, explique Frédéric Mauch, le fondateur de BioApply. A nos débuts, il y a trois ans, ce n’était pas facile, je dirais même que c’était de la science-fiction, car les produits bio étaient trois fois plus chers. Il nous a donc fallu développer une valeur ajoutée au produit. En faire un outil de sensibilisation, de marketing durable. Prouver que ce n’est pas un banal sac en plastique mais un vecteur de communication !» Un des moyens qu’a trouvé BioApply, c’est de permettre au client de créer son sac online. «Il suffit de choisir un type de sac, de mettre votre logo ou une image et votre sac personnalisé est prêt. Peter Wenger est ingénieur en mécanique dans le Haut-Valais. Depuis plusieurs années, il développe pour le plaisir un prototype de luge résolument nouveau. Les changements de direction ne s’opèrent plus en plantant le talon dans la neige à gauche ou à droite, mais en déplaçant subtilement le poids de son corps d’un côté ou de l’autre. D’où vous est venue l’idée d’un tube-panneau solaire ?
J’ai une double formation d’architecte et de biologiste, suivie d’un MBA. Dans mes diverses activités professionnelles, j’ai étudié l’intégration du solaire dans le bâtiment ainsi que les besoins énergétiques des populations rurales. Lors d’un congrès, j’ai découvert le programme marocain d’électrification décentralisée, dont l’idée était d’apporter le courant aux foyers ruraux pour la lumière et la téléphonie mobile. En voyant les installations parfois vétustes et l’inadéquation d’un matériel lourd, donc non transportable, je me suis dit qu’il fallait développer un produit pour une utilisation nomade de l’électricité. J’ai donc tout de suite pensé aux produits de Flexcell à Yverdon pour créer un kit de production énergétique autonome contenant un panneau solaire souple.
